April 25, 2023· In a special moment during our Easter Vigil, Myla Luera was baptized with her precious baby boy, Giovanni Sarabia . We pray that the spiritual bond of receiving this sacrament together allows them to follow Christ side-by-side in the years to
come.
· Owen Aycock, St. John's resident cellist, played with the New York Philharmonic on Friday, March 3rd. He has been accepted to the Castleman Quartet program in New York for the summer. We are blessed to have Owen play for our Masses when he visits home!
· Evan Herrera was baptized on April 3rd with his parents Veronica and Edgar by his side. Evan is preparing to receive his 1st Communion on April 29th. We pray that the peace of Christ be with him as he continues his journey of faith!

Juan & Terri Contreras were highlighted in a LifeGift Annual Report. LifeGift supports families as they navigate the process of organ and tissue donations. Juan & Terri spoke at webinars sponsored by the KoC Council 12320 to bring its members organ, eye & tissue donation education in both Spanish & English on September 17th, 2022. Juan & Terri Contreras lovingly spoke of their daughter, Celeste, who saved five lives thro
ugh organ donation. We pray that more people are touched by their moving testimony!
· Darwin & Melissa Mendez brought forth their sweet daughter, Elisa Mendez, to be baptized on April 15th. May God guide and protect her as she grows!
