LT Samuel Aycock graduated from training and flight school at Fort Rucker in Alabama as a Blackhawk pilot. He is stationed at Fort Drum in NY with the 10th Mountain Division.

On Sunday, February 15th, St. John the Baptist celebrated the Rite of Sending. On this joyous occasion, catechumens (unbaptized individuals) and candidates (baptized individuals) are officially sent forth to the bishop for the "Rite of Election."
Our Youth Group volunteered to help at the Lion's Club Pancake Festival last weekend!
Through this event, each year Lubbock Lions Club donates all of the profits raised from the Pancake Festival to over 30 charities!
The staff at St. John the Baptist wishes you a happy New Year! We were able to come together for a delicious meal before Christmas. Unfortunately, Father John was unable to attend. May the New Year bring us good health and draw us closer to our Lord, Jesus!
