The Social and Outreach ministry delivered the Valentines our parishioners donated to the residents at The Legacy at South Plains assisted living facility across the street.   There were a lot of smiling faces!  Thank you for your generosity towards our neighbors.

Working behind the scenes, we have a dedicated group of parishioners in our Linens Ministry.  With deep love and reverence for the Holy Eucharist, the Linen Ministry cares each week for the sacred linens used at Mass.

The Knights of Columbus collected $2,000  last weekend for this worthy organization!

Thank you to all our volunteers who served a homecooked meal to those who needed warmth and nourishment on a day of snow and ice.

Join us this February as we gather in small groups to share our faith and grow closer to Jesus.  We will be studying the book "Can You Drink the Cup?" by Henri J. M.

We are so grateful for the beautiful blessings and significant life events in our parishioners' lives.  Let us take a moment to learn more about the big milestones happening in our church family!

9 Days for Life is an annual novena for the protection of human life. Each day’s intention is accompanied by a short reflection and suggested actions to help build a culture of life.   At respectlife.org, You can download the novena or sign up to receive the daily prayers via email or text message.

Parishioners can sign up after Mass to bring large  pre-baked potatoes, toppings, water, or desserts. We also invite you to help serve this meal and visit with the residents at Grace Campus.

The Knights of Columbus Council  16451 invite your family to pray the Consecration to the Holy Family every day as we lead up to their feast day on Friday, December 30th.

And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth.  – John 1:14

Thank you to everyone who took a moment out of their busy schedules to focus our hearts and minds on the real reason for the season.  Our spiritual life committee did a wonderful job creating this experience for our church family!

As our parish family grows, let us get to know each other better by celebrating the good news of our fellow parish family members.

Christmas Schedule for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church

We need your help! We have more special angels waiting for you to pick them! Gifts are due this weekend (December 11th), wrapped and clearly labeled with their info.

Our tradition of using poinsettias to adorn the altar allows us to beautify the sacred space of our church during the entire Christmas season.

Photos from our Advent Dinner can be found here!

Our parishioner's generosity never ceases to amaze us.  Carts full of delicious Thanksgiving meals were donated to families less fortunate this holiday.  Parishioners also donated $800 along with gift cards to Catholic charities for more Thanksgiving meals.
